Dear family friend John passed away earlier this evening after a long battle with cancer. It doesn't seem real. This Christmas will be bittersweet. It's a relief to know he is no longer suffering and a joy to think we will see him again, but life here will be a little paler in the meantime.

Please uphold his wife Gwenda and the rest of his family in your prayers.
