hints...

Earlier this week, I was talking to my mother on the phone. Wilting in Singapore's humidity, she bemoaned the fact that this will be her third or fourth year in a row that she is not around to watch spring seep into her garden.

And so, this morning I felt it was my filial duty to traipse around the garden looking for hints that spring is approaching. I almost came away disappointed when I noticed a flash of bright white out of the corner of my eye. Snowdrops! I messed up the focus in the photo, but you get the idea...
